Jon Rubinstein (Palm CEO) hat kein iPhone

„Ich habe kein iPhone und auch noch nie ein iPhone benutzt“ diese Antwort gab der Chef von Palm in einem Interview mit All Things Digital während der Consumer Electronic Show (CES)!

Rubinstein, ausgezeichnet von Fast Company als geek of the year 2009, gab in dem Interview mit Kara Swisher bekannt, dass er Apple derzeit nicht besonders viel Aufmerksamkeit schenke!

Dies ist umso erstaunlicher, da Palm hier ja mit seinem Pre weiterhin in Schatten des Apple iPhone steht!

Auszug aus dem Original Interview:

“We don’t pay that much attention to Apple….I know it sounds really strange,” says Rubinstein.
“Really?” Kara replies. “You don’t worry about the iPhone?”
“No, I really don’t,” Rubinstein answers.
“I don’t believe you,” says Kara, telegraphing a sentiment I imagine is widely held among the audience.
Rubinstein: “I don’t have an iPhone. I’ve never even used one.”
