Vimeo erobert mit kostenloser iPhone, iPod Touch und iPad App den AppStore

Die große Youtube Alternative, Vimeo, erreicht nun auch endlich als App Anwendung den AppStore. Bislang gab es bei dem einen oder anderen iDevice noch kleine Unstimmigkeiten mit der Vimeo Website. Diese führten unter anderem dazu, dass Videos nicht ordentlich abgespielt werden konnten. Mit der neuen und kostenlosen App soll sich das nun ändern.

Die App arbeitet zuverlässig und ist mit kompatibel mit dem iPod Touch 4G, dem iPhone 4 und 3GS sowie dem iPad der zweiten Generation und erfordert mindestens iOS 4.0. iPhone und Co User können ab sofort mit der Vimeo App Videos uploaden, hinzufügen, managen oder einfach nur betrachten. Nach den Angaben der Entwickler wird die App stets weiterentwickelt und mit neuen Features bestückt. Wir sind gespannt.
