Apple-Geräte werden von ITC untersucht, Antrag von Motorola

Die U.S. International Trade Commission hat eine Untersuchung einiger Apple Produkte gestartet. Überprüft werden sollen iPhones, iPod, iPads und sogar Macs auf Patentverletzungen. Motorola Mobility von Motorola stellte einen Antrag bei der dafür zuständigen Handelskommission in den USA gegen Apple. Details gibt es in dem Fall eher weniger, total sollen sieben Patente von Motorola untersucht werden. Sollte Verletzungen dieser bei Apples Produkten erkannt werden, drohen Verkaufsverbote.

• U.S. Patent No. 7,007,064 “method and apparatus for obtaining and managing wirelessly communicated content” (iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4/4S, iPad 2 und iPad 3)
• U.S. Patent No. 7,383,983 “system and method for managing content between devices in various domains” (iPod touch, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4/4S, iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3)
