Die anonymen Quellen geben mit dem n\u00e4chsten Jahr bereits einen groben Erscheinungszeitraum an, wobei erw\u00e4hnt wird, dass das neue Galaxy-Smartphone ab der zweiten Jahresh\u00e4lfte zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen wird.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung enth\u00fcllte bereits einen <strong>Prototypen<\/strong> innerhalb der eigenen Pressevorf\u00fchrung auf der CES Messe in Las Vegas Nevada. Hierbei wurde die neue Display-Technik im Detail pr\u00e4sentiert, auf der aller Voraussicht ein Gro\u00dfteil der Smartphone-Lineups des s\u00fcdkoreanischen Unternehmens setzen wird.<\/p>\n<p>Die flexible OLED-Technologie wird von Samsung als <strong>Youm<\/strong> beschrieben, wobei im Vergleich zu den normalen Bildschirmen Plastik anstatt Glas als Substrat f\u00fcr die Display-Transistoren verwendet wird. Samsung gibt in diesem Zusammenhang an, dass die aktuelle Generation der Youm-Displays maximale Bildschirmgr\u00f6\u00dfen von 5,7 Zoll umfasst und dabei nur 0,12 Millimeter dick sind. Hier werden ganz klar die Vorteile der OLED-Technik deutlich, denn somit sind \u00e4u\u00dferst d\u00fcnne Panels zu realisieren.<\/p>\n<h3>LG Display als m\u00f6glicher Zulieferer der flexiblen OLED-Displays f\u00fcr Apple<\/h3>\n<p>Die kurvigen Displays gelten wom\u00f6glich als ein n\u00e4chster Trend der Smartphone-Hersteller, wobei es unklar ist, ob Apple ebenso auf diese Technik setzen wird. Neben Samsung best\u00e4tigte jedoch bereits <strong>LG Display<\/strong>, dass man solche Bildschirme in Zukunft fertigen wird. Da LG Display ein Zulieferer von Apple ist, k\u00f6nnte es also zu einer Kooperation kommen. Dabei soll Apple auch bereits Nutzerstudien durchgef\u00fchrt haben, wobei den Teilnehmer die besagte Technik n\u00e4her gebracht wurde.
