Denn wie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heise.de\/newsticker\/meldung\/Intel-bringt-sparsamere-Quad-Core-Prozessoren-und-senkt-Preise-Update-199179.html\" target=\"_blank\">heise.de<\/a> jetzt berichtet, hat <strong>Intel<\/strong> drei neue, sparsamere Quad-Core-CPUs vorgestellt. Darunter sind der Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200, Q9400 und Q9550, deren Thermal Design Power von 95 Watt auf 65 gesunken ist. Die Quad-Core-Prozessesoren w\u00fcrden so erstmal\u00a0 auch f\u00fcr den Einsatz in einem iMac interessant werden. Inwieweit an dieser Stelle das aktuelle <strong>K\u00fchlsystem<\/strong> ausreichen w\u00fcrde ist fraglich, jedoch hatten wir ja bereits berichtet, dass man bereits Unternehmen mit einem neuen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apfelnews.de\/2008\/12\/30\/neue-imacs-2009-mit-neuem-kuehlsystem-und-quad-core-prozessoren\/\" target=\"_blank\">K\u00fchlsystem<\/a> beauftragt hat. Die aktuellen mobilen Quad-Core-Prozessoren sind nicht der Rede wert, da sie rein preislich nicht ann\u00e4hernd in das Konzept von <strong>Apple<\/strong> passen w\u00fcrden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prinzipiell w\u00e4re denkbar, dass man die iMacs k\u00fcnftig in zwei Kategorien aufteilen k\u00f6nnte. In der ersten w\u00e4ren die aktuellen Modelle mit Nvidia-Chipsatz, einem mobilen Core 2 Duo Prozessor und einer Nvidia Geforce 9400M (siehe auch aktuelle MacBook Pro). In der zweiten k\u00f6nnte ein &#8222;Zwischeprodukt&#8220; zwischen iMac und Mac Pro entstehen, dass erstmals zur <strong>Desktop-Architektur<\/strong> mit Quad-Core-Prozesser und einem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apfelnews.de\/2009\/01\/05\/neue-28-zoll-imacs-mit-quad-core-prozessor\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>28-Zoll-Display<\/em><\/a> wechseln k\u00f6nnte. Dieser Schritt w\u00e4re durchaus sinnvoll, schlie\u00dflich klafft nachwievor ein kleines Loch zwischen iMac und Mac Pro, dass so erstmals geschlossen werden w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mittlerweile gilt es als sicher, dass uns zum 25. Geburtstag der <strong>Macintosh<\/strong> auch ein iMac erwarten wird. Ob uns hier bereits ein Quad-Core-Modell vorgestellt werden wird, bleibt nachwievor eine Zukunftsvision.
