Hier produzieren die S\u00fcdkoreaner den ersten 14-nm-Chip f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chste Generation der iPhones und iPads.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.apfelnews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/a8chip.jpg\" alt=\"a8chip\" width=\"700\" height=\"448\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-115066\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apfelnews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/a8chip.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.apfelnews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/a8chip-300x192.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wie die Electronic Times vermeldet, startete Samsung nun mit der Produktion vom Apple A9 SoC. Dieser wird nach dem 14-nm-FinFET-Prozess gefertigt und sollen auf Wunsch vom iPhone-Hersteller in Samsungs Werk in den USA gefertigt werden, das in der Stadt Austin in Texas errichtet wurde. Allerdings wird Samsung Prozessoren mithilfe der 14-nm-FinFET-Technologie auch in Asien fertigen. <\/p>\n<h3>Apple 9 Chips werden vorrangig von Samsung produziert<\/h3>\n<p>Da TSMC die Massenproduktion der Chips nach dem 14-nm-Verfahren in diesem Jahr nicht vornehmen kann, erhielt Samsung den Zuschlag f\u00fcr den Auftrag zur Fertigung der A9 Prozessoren von Apple. Im zweiten Quartal 2015 wird TSMC jedoch auch in die Massenproduktion einsteigen und m\u00f6glicherweise auch f\u00fcr Apple t\u00e4tig werden. <\/p>\n<p>Bei den aktuellen iOS-Devices aus den iPhone- und iPad-Reihen setzte Apple erstmals auf die Chips von TSMC, wobei zuvor vor allem Samsung f\u00fcr die Produktion der Prozessoren verantwortlich war. Nachdem TSMC zuletzt beim iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus und iPad Air 2  gut 70 Prozent der Apple A8 SoCs produzierte, kann sich nun Samsung \u00fcber diesen gro\u00dfen Auftrag freuen.
