Ein Gericht hat den Schadensersatz jetzt auf 234 Millionen Dollar festgesetzt.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Wie die Nachrichtenagentur Reuters <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-apple-patent-defense-idUSKCN0SA20E20151016\" target=\"_blank\">berichtet<\/a>, muss Apple eine Schadensersatzzahlung in H\u00f6he von 234 Millionen Dollar an die Universit\u00e4t von Wisconsin bezahlen. Die Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) hatte geklagt, da in den Prozessoren f\u00fcr iPhone und iPad aus den Jahren 2013 und 2014 (A7, A8, A8X) patentierte Technologien zum Einsatz kamen, f\u00fcr die Apple keine Lizenzgeb\u00fchren bezahlt hat.<\/p>\n<p>Urspr\u00fcnglich wollte die WARF 862 Millionen Dollar haben, ruderte dann aber zur\u00fcck und w\u00e4re auch mit etwa 400 Millionen Dollar zufrieden gewesen. Das Gericht hat den Schaden nun auf 234 Millionen Dollar festgesetzt und argumentiert damit, dass Apple nicht absichtlich gegen das Patent versto\u00dfen habe.<\/p>\n<p>Bei dem Patent geht es um eine Technologie, um Prozessoren effizienter zu gestalten, wenn sich Aufgaben parallelisieren lassen. Das Patent wurde schon 1998 eingereicht und best\u00e4tigt.
