Heute wurde durch die Kollegen von macwelt.de bekannt, dass sowohl Apple als auch das kleine IT-Unternehmen des Yale-Professors Mirror World eine Schonfrist erhalten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Diese soll dazu dienen neue Argumente, Indizien und Beweise in der Streitfrage vorzulegen, ob und wenn ja in welchem Umfang Apple Patente von Mirror World verletzt habe. Der zust\u00e4ndige Richter Leonard Davis gibt beiden Partien daf\u00fcr bis Ende November Zeit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apfelnews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/apple-zentrale.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-15672\" src=\"https:\/\/www.apfelnews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/apple-zentrale.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>Apple kam mit seinem Einspruch wohl vor allem deswegen durch, weil man den die verschiedenen Patentfragen nicht ausreichend differenziert wahrgenommen sah. Derzeit steht eine Strafzahlung im Raum, nach der f\u00fcr jeden der drei angef\u00fchrten Patentverst\u00f6\u00dfe eine Summe von 208 Millionen US-Dollar, also insgesamt 625 Millionen US-Dollar, an Mirror World zu zahlen sind. Eine derart hohe Summe halten Prozessbeobachter f\u00fcr nicht durchsetzbar. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bekam Apple die Patente gestern von anderer Stelle aus zugesprochen.
